Surgeon joined the company in October 2004 as a Sales and Marketing Assistant before rising through the ranks to become California Sales Manager and, most recently, Northern California and Hawaii Regional Sales Manager. Surgeon is a graduate of the Executive MBA for Wine Business program at Sonoma State University, where she also earned an undergraduate degree in business administration. "Alison has been a passionate, unrelenting brand ambassador from the very beginning," says Rombauer President and CEO Bob Knebel. "Our entire team is thrilled to see her receive this well- deserved promotion." Stepping into Surgeon's former position is Kristine Pederson, most recently a Senior Account Specialist with Monterey Bay Wine Company. A graduate of the University of California, Davis, and a Certified Sommelier and Certified Specialist of Wine, Pederson has more than 20 years of experience in the wine industry. B rian Baker has been appointed General Manager of historic Napa Valley vineyard and winery Mayacamas Vineyards. Prior to his appointment, Baker served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Chateau Montelena Winery in Calistoga, where he oversaw global sales and marketing activities. Baker's introduction to the wine business arrived in 2004, when he was appointed Vice President–Consumer Relationship Management at Jackson Family Wines in Santa Rosa. He holds a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) credential and is an alumnus of the University of Southern California.
