Close inspection will reveal crackers and chunks of food dropped by the kids under the kitchen table, grime in the bathroom grout, and cereal bits and hair elastics dropped in the car. One of the lovely things about this movie is that it turns into a different movie on the second viewing. Hopefully, one notices the Easter eggs sprinkled around, from the Production Design, to the cinematography through to the costume design. From the aquatic touches, to the way Marlo and Tully merge into one behind the yellow glass as they march up the stairs, to Tully's ode to Winona Rider's character in Reality Bites when she first arrives to the house. Every character was given a backstory—whether it was specifically in the script or not. A little magic was infused into the nuances of real life. ADG A. CLASSROOM. SET PHOTO. B.
